Day 121: St. Arnaud-Horsham

December 2, 2015Tomaz Humar

When the sound of wind blowing wakes you up in the morning, you know it’s going to be a shitty day. I had 19 days of head wind and only 2 days back wind. I think I figured out why it is called head wind! Because it gets in your head. On the other hand I could be the one getting in the “wind’s head.”  The wind is probably thinking:“Shit this guy is serious, he just wont quit!” I am. And I won’t! 9 hours on the bike today, with the same facial expression, felt like I was playing poker. At the end of the day I glanced back on the road in complete silence, thinking:”I did it!” Completed my daily goal, did 140 kilometers, made one stop in a small town. The road was mostly straight and flat. Day 121 behind me, I’m not stopping.

It’s all in! Good day.
