Leaving Kharagpur, multiple thoughts on my mind. Well let me put it this way: Kharagpur was without any regret most chaotic city I have visited so far. I knew there were two roads leading to Balasore, and I could not afford to take the wrong one. Of course I missed it! People and their driving here is insane, I really have to be careful! If you’re a cow in India you will have a wonderful live, although if you are anything else, you will probably suffer your whole life. While cycling people were driving next to me, stopping, asking me things, waving. It’s hard to keep your head cool sometimes. I finally got some WiFi connection so I was able to upload my GPS tracker, and take a look where I actually was. I drank and ate almost nothing for the whole day, I desperately needed some carbs for energy. You cannot cycle solely on air. In the shop I bought 1kg of noodles, cooked them and ate them with my hands. It was the only good thing I was able to buy. There are thousands of little shops here selling “food”, but they all sell the same 5 things, no diversity. The only good thing are cookies called Pure Magic, they are crispy and filled with chocolate. But I can’t only eat cookies for one month, can I? I really hope the whole food situation get’s better towards Chennai. Good day.
