Day 192: Solapur-Bhigwan

February 15, 2016Tomaz Humar

I couldn’t get much sleep tonight. I didn’t feel OK, like my immune system was down. In the morning I felt terrible, had no energy at all. I really struggled to prepare myself for cycling. All day I felt like there was no energy in me. Also I’m experiencing some neck pain.

The road was better today, much safer and less traffic, thank god. Some uphill riding, but I managed it. Again I didn’t find a place where they would want to accept me. I really don’t get it?! What is the deal with that, I feel super unwelcome here! Anywhere I come, all eyes on me, everybody staring with angry faces. India is full of suffering, everywhere I look people suffer. For me as a European, that is very hard to accept and adapt to. Also having the fear of eating anything cooked here basically is not good. Last time I tried, I got diarrhea, that cannot happen again. All I’m eating are basically cookies and water. I really hope my body will endure all this. Get home safe and eat a home cooked meal, that is what I wish! Good day.
