I started at 10am. Hot weather, bad road, some uphill riding. I had to repair the front tube three times! The first two times there were no bicycle shops around, so I only inflated and patched the tube. This way I was able to cycle till the nearest town where I bought a new one. The guy that did the patching just took a hammer and nailed some piece of metal in the tube, and he bent the front wheel while doing it! Now the bike is making strange noise when I turn the handlebar. By 3pm I did only 50 kilometers, so I had to push it hard. I made 85 kilometers in the next 3 hours, finished a minute before nightfall. Got a room, not the nicest I’ve seen, but it was the only room in a 100 kilometer range. Don’t feel stressed, no complaints, I’m alive and healthy. Tomorrow I will be cycling on AH43 – a regional road that should be good to cycle on. I’m hoping there will be no tire problems. A hot day is expected. Good day.
