I woke up pretty early, started cycling at 8.30 am. I was feeling good, knowing it’s my last day in India. I kept asking myself how could I do this day after day. Traffic, pollution, heat, eyes on you all the time, etc., India really was tough! I tried to look on this country differently, tried do understand the people. Honestly I feel bad for all the kids who have nothing, it’s really a shame. Back home I actually have a “home”. I also have a future ahead of me. Children and young people in India have none of that. Most people are living hands to mouth, that’s all they practically do. Without proper plans for the future generations in India, this country has no future. Again I feel grateful for what I have!
The cycling went smooth today, had no problems. Actually I just arrived to the Airport, dismantled and packed the bicycle, waiting for the check-in. I spent 27 days in India.
Last part is ahead of me, it’s gonna be tough. Now I’ll no longer be cycling at 30-40 degrees, but more like 0-10, plus the roads will be wet and slippery. Winter is waiting. When the plane lands in Europe, regardless of the weather I will continue as planned. Will not stop. I have to stay focused, also I hope everything goes OK. This is it. 7 out of 7. The last “battle”. Europe is my home, and home is where I’m going. Feeling good, strong, motivated. I hope my bike survives the last flight and comes out undamaged. I have made 11 flights altogether. Haven’t slept yet today, will take a nap during the flight. This has really been a journey, journey of a lifetime!
Good day.
